Random fact of the night

Simkins, now the only all-male dorm at UT, has a condom vending machine. Just thought I should mention that.

Well, it's not just a condom vending machine, it does Coke, Dr. Pepper, Snickers and other stuff too, but yeah, condoms. In an all male dorm.

    Side note, UT is one of the most highly ranked Journalism schools in the US, and in fact has a HUGE program dedicated to media.

  • Although there was no condom machine in Simkins when I lived there in 1980-1981, there were plenty of girls staying the night in the guys rooms. Don't think that because Simkins is All Male it means Gay! My girlfriend must have stayed over 10-15 nights when visiting on the weekends. I remember having to check the bathroom to make sure it was clear for her to "go" in the middle of the night.
